What is God doing in Chichicastenango the world?

We are a small church located in the Western Highlands of Guatemala, overlooking a beautiful old town called Chichicastenango. First, the facts:

• We are an English-speaking church
• We hold services every Sunday for full-time missionaries and their families, as well as for traveling short-term teams, a few scattered tourists, and the occasional wandering hiker.
• We have no denominational slant or bias. Where the Word speaks, we speak, where it is silent, we try hard to be silent.

But beyond the facts we try to be a safe place where everyone can meet and be uplifted in prayer, worship, fellowship, and sharing in God's Word. And we have found that the Church has become more of a tangible blessing and necessity for this community of missionaries.

We have a message to share because the message is bigger than what God is doing in Chichicastenango. The message is bigger than our individual mission organizations and ministries. The message is even bigger than what is going on in our own hearts, and our own growth in walking with God. We are simply living to find our place in His message.
